Now that great support structures are in place, OBC is needing to update our governance documents (Church Constitution) to reflect the changes that have been made. While our ethos remains the same, how we operate requires some improvements.
 
Over the last year, numerous hours have been spent praying, discussing, writing, and crafting new governance documents, and now we’re in the final phase of this process. 
 
Having received feedback from the membership on an initial draft, a final version of the Proposed Constitution was created. On 23 November, at OBC's Vision & Budget meeting, the Proposed Constitution will be presented to the membership for acceptance. 
 
Although only church members will have the opportunity to vote on the acceptance of the Proposed Church Constitution, we would love everyone who considers OBC their home church to be informed of the process and have the opportunity to read the final document.
