TODAY WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO JOIN US THROUGH THESE SIMPLE STEPS AS WE WORSHIP & JOURNEY TOGETHER.
Prepare your heart and mind as you begin church at home. A great way to do this is through Scripture. Take a moment and read Psalm 86:1-4 then give God praise for who He is and what's He's done!
The Apostle Paul had an "unnatural" response to being imprisoned. He saw imprisonment as a way to bring the gospel to the palace guard and a reason for believers gaining confidence to speak God's message with boldness. Is there an opportunity for you to have an "unnatural" response to something you're facing right now?
In this week's message, Mark mentioned that following Jesus can lead us into difficult circumstances. Does this correspond with your understanding of what the Bible teaches? Why or why not?
What does it say about God that He can use any circumstance to bring about His purposes?
What are some characteristics of a life fully surrendered to Jesus?
MISSION & PRAYER
Find encouragement by reading Psalm 23. Is there anyone you know that may need some encouragement today? How can you respond to that need?
Ask God to show you if there are any areas in your life that aren't submitted to Him. If there are a few areas, thank God for showing you and pray for His grace to help you submit in those areas.
Take some time to reflect on God's faithfulness to you (past & present). Rejoice in His goodness!
Make sure to check in with a few others to see how they're doing in light of our current environment.
