TODAY WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO JOIN US THROUGH THESE SIMPLE STEPS AS WE WORSHIP & JOURNEY TOGETHER.
STEP 1
PREPARATION
Prepare your heart and mind as you begin church at home.
Take a moment to read the following scripture: Psalm 65:1-8

A great expression of worship is through song. Take a moment to visit this week's playlist, a combination of songs plus some we are looking to introduce when we can come back together. Enjoy this time with your Lord!

DISCUSSION
What are a few things we need to consider as we seek to better understand the Bible? Why are these things important?
How should we understand "inheritance" from a biblical perspective?
Discuss a few parallels between "the Exodus" and the work of Jesus.
Contrast the "Domain of Darkness" and the "Kingdom of Light/of God". What are the big differences?
How can we be sure Jesus is "first place in everything" in our lives?
How would you describe "new creation"?
What should we do when we begin to see the chaos in the world finding its way into the family of God?
STEP 5
MISSION & PRAYER
What stood out most to you in today's message? Pray that God will help you understand & apply what you've learned.
Turn to Colossians 1:12-23 and circle/highlight any words where Paul might refer to the Old Testament. Take a moment to see if these words give you a greater understanding of what Paul is communicating.
Take some time to see if some of the world's "chaos" has interfered with the "peace" God intends for us to maintain.
Ask God to show you what's He's doing around you and pray for Him to use you.
Find a way to support/encourage someone this week.
